"Can Your Words Change Your Life?"

"A man is what he thinks about all day long."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

The words we speak consistently matter.

Not only the words others hear, but also the ones we repeat to ourselves every day.
“I can’t do this.”
“I’m not strong enough.”
“It’s too late to change.”

Or instead:
“There is hope.”
“I’ll try again.”
“I won’t give up.”

Our words do more than describe what is happening inside us. They often shape our outlook on life, the decisions we make, and the direction we choose to go.

So it’s worth asking: what kind of words fill our speech?
Words of fear or hope?
Despair or faith?
Defeat or new possibilities?

📖 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
(Proverbs 18:21)

The Bible reminds us that words have consequences. They are like seeds that eventually produce fruit.

GOOD NEWS:
God offers us a foundation for hope that does not depend on circumstances.
When we begin to trust Him, our words gradually change.
Instead of “I’m alone,” we begin to say, “God is with me.”
Instead of “There is no way out,” we say, “There is hope.”
Instead of “My story is over,” we discover that “God is not finished with His work yet.”

Sometimes change begins with the words we choose to speak today.
