Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
Good News Bible Church

1. What We Send
Good News Bible Church (“GNBC,” “we”) sends text messages to people who have agreed to receive them. Depending on how you are involved, you may receive:
- Church announcements and schedule changes
- Event reminders and volunteer (serving) reminders
- Messages from the ministry groups you belong to, including group chats
- One-time sign-in codes, only when you ask for one to sign in to your church account
Group messages are shared with the group. When you send a message to a ministry group's number, it is delivered to that group's members, so only send what you are comfortable with the whole group seeing.
2. How You Join
You can sign up on our website at goodnewsbible.org/sms, by texting JOIN to our announcement number (number to be published), or by filling out a sign-up card at the welcome desk. Each of these shows the key terms before you agree. You are only added to a ministry group's messages after you have agreed to receive our texts.
Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of church membership, attendance, or creating an account, and is not required to receive anything from us.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Announcements and reminders are usually a few messages a month; group messages depend on how active your group is.
4. Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive. We do not charge for our text messages.
5. Help
Reply HELP (or ПОМОЩЬ) to any message for help. You can also reach us directly:

6. How to Stop
Reply STOP (or СТОП) to any message to cancel all text messages from Good News Bible Church. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. We will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.
To leave one ministry group but keep receiving other church texts, reply LEAVE in that group's conversation.
To start receiving messages again after opting out, reply START or sign up again at goodnewsbible.org/sms.
7. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers who send messages on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
